Artist/producer Mas Aya has dropped his latest track, ‘Quiescence’ - a creative and complex work. Over the course of almost eight minutes, we are introduced to a variety of sounds and feelings, from the gentle clicks of percussion, to heavenly textural pads and ethereal flute melodies. “This track is an instrumental ambient, new-age meditation on peace and gratitude," explains Valdivia. "In place of the more contemporary ambient instruments we normally hear such as synths and electronics, this piece uses organic instruments such as the kalimba, bells, and the Andean Quena flute.” It’s a transcendent experience, and makes us very excited to hear his upcoming album, Máscaras, which drops on September 24^th, 2021. -Dan Peeke
